I ordered online for pickup. When I got there they claimed they missed it for whatever reason. Seems like I was the first ever customer to have ordered online even though the option is clearly there on the website. But sure, stuff happens, so I had to wait some time. When I asked for some compensation, to my surprise, I was initially refused, though later I was offered extra food after I pointed out the inconvenience. Now the food itself is good and tasty, but two comments - the bakso broth/soup is quite strong and salty so not everyone will like it. I also think the roti bakar is overpriced for what we get. Overall, I think this place is great and has potential, but I won’t be coming back

Meatballs and the soup are pretty good. It is very well priced for the portion. It will be good if they have option to add extra vermicelli, as per japanese kaidama. Atmosphere was quite good with some Indonesian songs and dangdut. Unfortunately, the DJ came and changed it to techno music. I don't think there is any occassion where bakso and techno music will ever be a match.

I came a bit early on Saturday afternoon around 4pm. And that was our first time to visit Kangen Indo..The bakso I believe one of the best bakso in Sydney (we ordered bakso Daging urat dan bakso urat jando) . We didn’t have the opportunity to try the pisang goreng and the churros before we were already too full with the generous portions. There is a stage for live music that I believe it will be rocking the during weekend. The main challenge is to find parking spots.

Okay, this is my honest review of coming here for the first time after seeing it on TikTok. If you’re hungry and need something quick, it’s better to eat at another Indonesian eatery nearby or just go to JJ instead. We arrived here on Sunday night at 7:18 PM and immediately ordered three types of bakso. It was raining, quiet, and there was only one other customer before us. From the moment we ordered, we waited a very long time and only got our bakso at 8:16 PM (proof is in the photo). Maybe if it was busy, not raining, or if we weren’t hungry, it would’ve been tolerable but this was different. There was no live music either, so we were sitting there cold, hungry, in a quiet place, and the food still took ages to arrive. When the bakso finally came, the inside was still cold. It seemed like it hadn’t been reheated properly. The taste was okay, but not amazing. The broth honestly tasted a bit too salty for me. And none of the bakso looked like the pictures. The worst one was the bakso mercon. We only got one big bakso with none of the smaller ones at all. The bakso mozzarella was a bit better since it came with three small bakso. Also, the bakso mercon wasn’t really spicy. The pictures made it look very fancy with lots of fillings, but in reality, don’t expect too much. Okay ini review jujur pertama kali ke sini setelah liat di tiktok. Untuk yang lapar dan perlu cepat lebih baik makan di warung indo lain dekat sini atau JJ sekalian. Jadi kami sampai sini Minggu malam jam 7:18 PM langsung pesan 3 janis bakso mereka. Suasana hujan, sepi dan cuma ada satu pelanggan lain sebelum kami. Dari awal pesan kami nunggu sangat lama dan dapat baksonya di jam 8:16 (bukti ada di foto). Mungkin kalau kondisi ramai dan sedang tidak hujan atau tidak lapar masih bisa toleransi tapi ini berbeda. Pertunjukan musik juga tidak ada jadi sudah dingin lapar sepi mana lama pula dapatnya. Oke setelah dapat bakso ternyata dalam baksonya masih dingin. Sepertinya kurang cukup dihangatkan baksonya. Rasa bakso enak tapi gak enak banget. Kuahnya jujur sedikit asin untuk saya. Dan semua bakso tidak sesuai gambar. Yang paling parah bakso mercon cuma dapat 1 bakso besar tanpa bakso kecilnya sama sekali. Bakso mozarella masih mending dapat bakso kecil 3 biji. Dan bakso mercon tidak terlalu pedas. Digambar sangat mewah isiannya tapi aslinya jangan berharap banyak.

Nice little courtyard hidden in mascot. Soups are tasty with generous amount of meatballs and tender beef ribs. Will be back! Live music was also great, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
