Nice place for craving Indonesian food. We recommend the batagor and bakso goreng yummy, crispy, savory and make you wanna eat more. We come around lunch time 12 pm and not have queue, but the moment we finish our food we see many people lining upπ€ The noodle is yummy but not the taste I looking for. May be lack of pork oil or soy sauce which is normally highlight in common pork noodles in Indonesia. But I love how they combine and mix match all the condiment.

We live in Southbank and every time weβve walked past thereβs been a queue. So we decided to visit when it opened and now we know why thereβs usually a queue. The food is absolutely yummy!!! This is now one of our favourite spots in Melbourne. Thank you π

Great food will not regret! Couldnt take photos cause too hurry to eat the food. Noodles dishes are really nice that I would like to recommend pp to try!

Authentic and spicy Indonesian Chinese restaurant. The signature dry noodles with minced pork, bbq pork, soy egg and fried wanton is seriously delicious! Note they can get very busy with take aways and deliveries, so be ready to wait for a table and your food order.

One of the greatest food places in South Melbourne. Unbeatable price, fantastic Indonesian food, you really can't do better. I go here every Friday for lunch. My personal favourite is the Smashed Chicken on Rice (Mild), but you really can't go wrong. The Fried Chicken Balls with sweet and sour sauce, and the Batagor Bandung are also delicious. You won't regret trying Meet Bowl

Waited about 30 minutes or more on a Sunday during lunchtime. The place isnβt very big, but the owner is super friendly despite being really busy. The food is pretty tasty and authentic. Best to visit on a weekday to avoid the long wait.

For the price, taste and authenticity of the food, I firmly believe this place totally deserves at least one Michelins star!βοΈ Everything in the menu no matter how often I come here is NEVER fail to impress. This is a kind of place that you are full and satisfy after one dish, then you have to try another dish straight after!! The Nasi Campur (mixed rice)- only on the weekend - definitely out of this word! Maybe would benefit with extra side soup with preserved cabbage? But still one of the best I had!! The Bakmie keritng Siantar (curly noodle from Siantar) is my must have every time I go there with extra quail egg meatballs which are super yummy. The fried chicken balls also good snack while waiting for your main meal to arrive. They are super light, crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft inside! I could have a dozen of them!!! Batagor and Siomay is another dishes which are worth to try and alternate. I got these to win my super fussy eater friend. He loves it and I can understand why as they are combination of scrumptious fried food mainly fish based I think and texturous creamy peanut sauce. Lucky they donβt open everyday or else I will be super fat over indulging with their exceptionally delicious meals!! My mouth is watery as I am writing thisβ¦ If you are a foody and love your food, you havenβt really taste delicious meal if you havenβt been to Meatbowl! Super highly recommended!!! MUST definitely TRY!

This has been our familyβs go-to spot for noodles! Always consistent and yumm, thanks to Ci Graceβs care and dedication. The taste brings back memories of the noodles in Indonesia. And if youβre wondering about the number of eggs in my bowl - yes, I need that extra protein! π€©π πͺ

I love the Siomay (Indonesia Steamed Dimsum) served with peanut sauce! The deep fried beef ball is also nice. Staffs are polite with smile. The place is a bit messy, and need improvement. Overall, i will be back!

Great food & Authentic! Generous portion, The noodle is chewy and perfect topping flavour, their fried meatball is yummy. Sambal is spicy enough to give it a kick but not to burn your tounge. All good!!

An old favourite in South Melbourne. This Indonesian restaurant has been around for a long time. This place is under new management but with same old good food. It serves Indonesian style noodles and light meals as can be seen in the attached photo of the menu. In my recent visit, I had the bakmi siantar (Siantar Noodle). Good portion. Great taste. I would definitely visit this place again in the future to try other options in the menu.

Best Indonesian cuisine I've eaten so far in Australia, the price is affordable with a huge portion!! I was starving haven't eaten since morning and I couldn't even finish my bakmi without some pause. Taste wise it's also authentic and you"ll feel like you're eating at Glodok inside of the shop. Definitely a must place to visit if you're digging some bakmi at Melbourne.

I randomly came across this place while in South Melbourne and could not be happier. Unlike its ordinary look from outside, Meetbowl serves mouth-watering Indonesian laksa, beef soup with noodles, and the like. These dishes are especially great during the cold windy days and are an absolute bang for the buck. The service is also rather fast and you can pay by card as well.
