Selamat datang to Ria Ayam Penyet - Founded by Ibu Ruth, this family-owned restaurant has been humbly serving true Indonesian food across South-East Asia for decades. To some, Ria is the taste of home, a nostalgic weekend family lunch at one of the many Riaβs across Indonesia. For others, itβs the taste of adventure, their first bite into a crispy Indonesian smashed chicken while on a business trip in Singapore. Now celebrating the flavours and handed-down family traditions of Indonesian street food on the streets of Australia. With no compromise of flavour and spices, staying true and authentic since 1998. Experience Ria, experience Indonesia.

Love the food (fried chicken, grill chicken and grill ribs) Sambal is good and generous as always please keep this up. Personal fave is the grill ribs so yum. Ps: public holiday surcharge is quite high π² and take away box cost extra ($0.5)

This was my first time trying indonesian food. The nasi goreng was amazing. The rice was full of flavors and spices. And the green chili βsambal ijoβ was adding more burst to the food. Absolutely loved it would like to visit more often

Good food and good service. I have been to few different Indonesian Restaurants but they got more flavour than others. More street flavours with cheap price makes them different. Their price is really low compared to others. In $40 you can have 2 persons meal. Beef grilled ribs really good with the spicy sauce. Enough seating space, outside seating available. They got durian juice but donβt have it if you are not okay with too much smell.

absolutely delicious authentic indonesian cuisine! they keep things simple and honest and they focus on setting the flavour to be the centre of their dishes - and they have hit the mark! good portioned dishes for great value! the sambal is very addictive and had me craving for more! i would definitely be returning to try more of their dishes!

Ordered rawon and soto ayam, not bad, flavor couldβve been stronger. Quite a lot of the dishes were unavailable at the time tho. The sambal was very nice, not too spicy, very nice to have it with tahu and tempe. Not bad overall.

For whom love indonesian hot chilli spicy grilled dishes.. they also serve soup dishes like meatball, yellow chicken or brown beef soup.. Return visit on Mar 2022. Still a lovely place to come and eat in this restaurant. Ordered the authentic smashed empal and bakso soup, and ice cendol. Very lovely as it band aids the longing to our indonesian food. Return visit on July 2022. But we went here in between too π. Ordered empal penyet, bakso, gado gado to satisfy our hunger at dinner time post swimming. And of course we need special ketchup, sweet soy sauce ketchup. Like this indo restaurant cos it serves authentic indo food. The flavour and taste and texture of foods were great. Two thumbs up for this restaurant. Return visit June 2024. Ordered black soup, yellow soup, batagor for takeaway. Still have this hype from eating meals from this restaurant. The taste is wonderful and fullfilling the crave for Indonesian Food, eventhough none of Indonesian Foods in Australia would be authenthic. Totally recommended.

We just went here because my 7yo son is nuts about the serving robot. But hey, the food, delish! It seems very authentic indonesian cuisine. I had Ayam Bakar grilled chicken for $14. Loved it. Junior was also happy with his Ayam Penyet. A word of caution: careful with that dip in the small dish! It's a very hot chilli concoction. It can make a grown man weep. Atmosphere is nice. We will come again.

I am a regular here at Ria. Always love to have Ayam Panyet with side Rawong (Beef soup) and Terong (Eggplant). If you love authentic Indonesian food, you must definitely try it out!

I need my ayam penyet fix once in a while with the hot sambal that makes one sweat. Well, I've found a place that does this well in Noble Park! Highly recommended. And if you want to go native, try eating it with your fingers. Ha, ha. They have a sink there to wash your hands. We had the ayam penyet, prawn penyet and grilled beef ribs. All were delicious. The chicken was crunchy and goes well with the sambal. The prawns were fresh, crunchy and delicious. And the beef ribs were smokey, soft and yummy. We also had the chendol for drink/dessert. It was okay. I would be coming back to this place to sample the other dishes.
