Whenever I’m feeling sad and need something sinfully fried and greasy, this is my first choice. Their ayam geprek (smashed fried chicken) is so so good. My favourite combo has to be the salted egg, indomie meal (with a fried egg and fried kale). Beware their spicy is SPICY. The ambiance is nothing stand out, but let’s be real, that’s not what you’re there for anyway.

Authentic Ayam Geprek found in Melbourne, tasty and textural, we really enjoyed the experience. Chicken was crunchy, fried veges were crispy, together with the omelette and sauce, everything combined into a delicious meal. Iced tea was also a great partner to mellow and wash everything down.

I tried this place because of a TikTok recommendation. The fried chilli chicken was quite nice, and they have different spice levels, which is great because my partner doesn’t eat spicy food. We visited this place during its first week of opening, so it was quite busy and we waited for approximately 20 minutes for our food. Overall, it’s a good place if you’re looking for Indonesian 🇮🇩 chilli fried chicken.

ordered here around 11am 22 april. the lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. food was made very quickly and the quality was still exceptional my biggest concern is the tea, it’s very sweet but overall i had a very good meal.

I took my Australian boyfriend here and it’s his favorite too now. We keep coming back here, maybe for the 10th times already. The staffs are always nice and helpful too.

Absolutely mind-blowing experience! The portion sizes are generous, and the sauces are absolutely stunning. I tried the Rendang sauce with extra sambal, both were packed with flavour and worked beautifully together. Highly recommend this place! 🥰

signature dish was amazing, on the spicy side but enough meat for two meals. so tasty, service was quick and decent prices. highly recommend and will be coming back.

Hands down closest Balinese flavour bomb experience !!! 🙌 Super friendly staff with smiles...classic Balinese hospitality. Food was punchy, fresh, flavoursome and AUTHENTIC! Try every sambal if you can....Matah, ijo, terasi all of them were unique and super tasty. Good quality fried chicken and Jasmine rice with all sorts of campur style dishes. Must have.😋😋

Delicious food! I had the brave, and I love spicy but wow, this was crushed up fresh chili spicy. So good! The chicken was crispy, generous portion and not too much rice. The egg and the crispy toppings were nice too. No gluten free options are available.

The fried chicken was extremely tastttttty!!! Even it’s my first time trying Indonesian food, my experience was fulfilled. If you eat spicy, you’d definitely enjoy the dishes from this place! The staff was nice and they recommended us well about the menu. The food was served hot and fast, plenty of seats, really good price👍

Delicious ayam geprek - first time smashed chicken and not my last. Definitely found it easier to eat and much more flavourful. Favourite was surprisingly the salted egg, but their sambal is real deal of umami with a slight sweetness.

tried geprek out after so many recommendations by friends and seeing it pop up on tiktok! this is an indonesian dish where fried chicken is smashed and mixed with spicy sambal sauce ! geprek sambalado (weak) - omg they say weak but WOW the indonesian people can really do their spice - weak wasn’t that bad like it was spicy enough that you still wanted more - but i still felt like my mouth was being set on fire omg - needed a coke on the side to help calm down the spice - but overall, really enjoyed this dish! i loved how seasoned everything was and that even though the chicken had a lot of sauce on top, it was still so crispy - the chicken itself was such a highlight like it’s crispy, juicy, well-seasoned, everything you would want in a fried chicken rice dish - $16, 9/10 overall, would love to come back because that chicken is soooo good!

Had the Salted Egg Chicken. Great, filling rice bowl which was perfectly balanced - salty and creamy without being too heavy and buttery. I'll come back soon <3 The place is within the Midtown centre, away from the bustling environment - A convenient place to rest in between a chinatown/elizabeth street crawl!

Craving for authentic Indonesian foods for ages and found this gems! This fiery dish delivers the perfect combo of crispy fried chicken smashed with fresh, spicy chili that hits just right. The sambal is made to order, giving it that unbeatable freshness and kick. (truly made in front of you). The cashier lady is so friendly don’t hesitate to ask question to her, she will explain the menu very nicely. Definitely will comeback!

The chili has a great kick: they have plenty of options too, bold enough to satisfy. And the portion? Generous and satisfying, with plenty of chicken that’s crispy and flavorful.
