Inspiring people to love Indonesian food has always been my biggest dream... I first learnt to cook when I was eight years old. I was living in Lombok, Indonesia and food was scarce as we were experiencing a famine. My favourite place to help my family was in the kitchen. Life wasn't easy, but the kitchen was a happy place where we all shared food and came together for meals. As I grew older and the famine passed, I lost touch with cooking for a brief moment... Until I moved overseas to raise my family. It was in these foreign countries, that I deeply missed my connection to Indonesia and my family. I started to remember the lessons I learnt in that kitchen all those years ago. And so my passion for cooking was reignited stronger than ever before! Rasa Rosa was created to connect people with Indonesia. I am proud to be Indonesian and am excited to share my family recipes that have been handed down to me. I can't wait to take you on this journey with me! - Rosa

Rasa Rosa
I have recently had a meal at Rasa Rosa and hands down it’s some of the most delicious food I've eaten lately. The owner, Rosa, was friendly and uses only the freshest ingredients toensure that each dish is properly prepared. It’s a ‘must try’ while you’re in Canberra. Thanks, Rosa.

Love the gulai lemak & nasi campur. The beef is melted in the mouth, the shredded chicken is flavoursome and the sauce are well balanced. Portion are generous and well priced. The owner is super friendly smiling to greet customers while busy cooking. We ended our lunch with banana fritters with palm sugar & coconut so good!

Today we only ordered kerupuk and cendol as we finished our dinner and decide to have more snacks. The cendol was good.. it was refreshing and the assorted kerupuk with peanut sauce was good as well. The aunty gave us a free snacks which made from sweet potato with shredded coconut and coconut sugar, this snack was so good with chewy texture, i forgot what's the name even after the aunty repeat twice.. but if its on the menu, you have to try it !!

A shop in the food court. Food exceeds expectation, very good taste of each item, fresh and full of flavours. But price relatively high.

As an Indonesian, I felt in love with Rosa's food. Authentic taste of the gado-gado, fried chicken with sambal & nasi goreng that we ordered. Kind & full of smile from the owner even corn fritters as a bonus. I hope the food will be available in Uber Eat

Definitely coming back here to try a proper meal one day soon! We ordered a selection of their Indonesian snacks for an event at Brew Nation next door. Was great fun to try different types of food. Everyone was very impressed and enjoyed the snacks. Favourites were the corn fritters (Goreng jagung) - delicious with super yummy spicy-but-not-too-spicy green chilli sauce, and the different options for the fried banana (Lampung Lampung) with cinnamon and coconut - also delicious, like banana caramel dumplings! Only criticism is that there is no clear signage out the front so I didn't know this place existed sooner!

Excellent traditional Indonesian food. I haven't tasted anything as authentic in Canberra. My absolute favourites are the crunchy beef and Lombok curry. Highly recommend Rosa's food 10/10

So fresh and delicious! I had dinner here last night - I got the nasi campur and it was so good…just the right amount of everything with tender meat, sweet and crunchy peanuts, shrimp, egg, fresh veges and perfect rice. Can’t wait to come back and bring my family.

Not only is the food incredible, Rosa is the kind of small business owner that you just can't help but support. The care and thought she puts into her food is evident in every bite. If you're looking for some yummy weeknight dinners or a special treat (to suit the mildest to spiciest mouths) you *have* to order and give her delicious food a crack. You won't want to go back to spag bowl!

Food is great and very flavourful. However the menu is very limited and a tad bit overpriced but the portions are relatively good.
